There are a number of ways to import product information into your storefront. Unfortunately, there is no way to import that information directly into Shoppingfeed. Find your platform to learn more about importing product data for your use.
Shopify
For fields that exist in Shopify already (like price, description, etc)
For Shopify, you can download your products to a .CSV file, paste in product data directly into the file using your favorite spreadsheet, then upload the same file after saving.
To create a new custom field for your products.
Shopify supports Metafields natively. Metafields are custom fields where you or an app can store product information. A number of Apps in Shopify rely on Metafields for their basic functions.
If you want to manually input data into Metafields, we recommend using MetaFields Editor, a free solution.
If you are trying to import data into metafields, we recommend using MetaFields Pro
Prestashop
In Prestashop, you can assign features to your product catalog. A new feature will create a field, which is imported into Shoppingfeed. Once added, these features are configurable for each product in your catalog and can be set with a default value.
Magento
In Magento, adding an attribute is essentially adding a field to store data for each of your products. Check out more on how to create a custom attribute. You can import product data into your custom attributes using a number of tools like this one.
BigCommerce
For fields that exist in Bigcommerce already (like price, description, etc)
For Bigcommerce, you can export your products to a .CSV file, add product data directly into the file using your favorite spreadsheet, then upload the same file after saving.
Custom Fields
Bigcommerce provides the steps for creating custom fields in the control panel, they can also be created via CSV import or through the API.
