With Centric Shoppingfeed, you can create additional Shopify-specific feeds to retrieve new information from your Shopify store and use it in Centric Shoppingfeed. You can manage their settings through a dedicated interface on the Catalog > Sources page.
Please note that any changes to these settings will affect the data retrieved by Centric Shoppingfeed. To access this feature, please contact our Sales team.
These additional Shopify feeds can be one of five different types:
- Metafields and metaobjects
- Translations
- Inventory locations
- Markets
- Price lists
Overview
On the Sources page, under the "Additional Feeds" section, you can view the type and settings of your additional Shopify feeds:
Creation
If your main feed comes from Shopify, you will now have the option to create either a standard additional feed or a Shopify additional feed:
Here is the information required to create an additional Shopify feed:
- Shopify Shop Domain (this will be pre-filled by Centric Shoppingfeed).
- Additional Feed Name (enter a name for your additional feed).
- Frequency & Start Time (these settings are used to schedule imports. By default, the import frequency and start time of your main feed are applied. You can uncheck this option to configure a different schedule for your additional feed).
Then, in the second step, you will need to choose the type of Shopify additional feed you want to create. This determines the data you want to retrieve through the additional feed. Depending on the type selected, you will also be able to configure additional settings:
The type is required and cannot be changed once selected. However, some types may require additional information, which can be modified later.
Below, you will find details about the different types available.
Translations
This type allows you to retrieve translations for translatable fields (name, link, description, category, option, option value, and collection). Translations must be published in your Shopify store in order to be retrieved.
You can specify multiple languages by separating the language codes (see the list of language codes in the Shopify documentation) with a |. The imported attributes will include the language code in their names.

Publication Status: This allows you to specify whether you want to retrieve data only for published products, unpublished products, or all products. By default, this setting is configured the same way as in your main feed and cannot be changed when creating your additional feed.
Please note: For consistency, if this setting is enabled, it must be enabled for all Shopify feeds from your store in Centric Shoppingfeed.

Reference: Shopify ID: By default, your products are identified based on their SKUs. When enabled, this setting allows you to use the Shopify ID as the product identifier. By default, it is configured the same way as in your main feed and cannot be changed when creating your additional feed.
Please note: If this setting is enabled, it must be enabled for all Shopify feeds from your store in Centric Shoppingfeed.

Metafields
This type retrieves metafields and metaobjects. Imported attributes will include "custom" in their names. List-type metaobjects are supported and are imported as a list of values separated by |. However, their translations cannot be retrieved.

- Publication Status: See the previous section.
- Reference: Shopify ID: See the previous section.
- Translations: You can retrieve translations of your metafields and metaobjects (if they are published) in a single language by specifying the language code in the dedicated field. If a translation is not available in the requested language, the default language will be used instead.
- Namespace Exclusion: You can exclude up to 10 namespaces by entering them exactly as they appear in Shopify and separating them with |
Inventory Locations
This type of feed allows you to retrieve inventory distributed across multiple locations.
By default, the values are initialized to 0. For each product, the feed retrieves all inventory locations (name and ID), as well as the product's inventory level at each location. The imported attributes include the location name and ID in their names.

Markets
This type of feed retrieves the prices and compare-at prices of products (variants and standalone products) from the catalog, as well as the currency for the market associated with the specified country code (see the list of country codes available in Shopify).
You can specify only one country. The imported attributes will include the country code in their names.

Price List
This type of feed retrieves the prices of products included in the specified price list. The imported attributes will include the first five letters of the price list name in their names.

Modification
To modify your Shopify additional feed, click "Edit" on the relevant additional feed.
The type of an additional feed cannot be changed. You can only modify the additional data associated with the selected feed type, its additional settings and their values. The import frequency and start time can also be modified.
