Your Shopify feed now has a new configuration area. You can manage its settings directly from Catalog > Sources, on the page dedicated to your main feed.
⚠️ Any modification will impact the data retrieved by Shoppingfeed. Please feel free to contact our Support team or your Account Manager if you need assistance.
Where can you find these settings?
Using the “Modify” button, you can modify the import frequency of your main feed in the first dedicated section.
You can also, in the “Settings” section, choose to add certain options to your Shopify main feed.
Available settings
Publication Status
This setting is enabled by default on your main feed. It allows you to specify whether you want to retrieve:
- only published products,
- unpublished products,
- or all products.
By default, it is configured to retrieve only published products from your Shopify store.
For consistency purposes, if this setting is enabled, it should be enabled for all Shopify feeds in your Shoppingfeed store.
Reference: Shopify ID
By default, your products are identified using their SKUs.
When enabled, this setting allows the Shopify ID to be used as the product identifier instead.
To modify this setting, please contact our Support team or your Account Manager.
For consistency purposes, if this setting is enabled, it should be enabled for all Shopify feeds in your Shoppingfeed store.
With Collections
This setting is enabled by default, meaning Shoppingfeed retrieves collection data from your Shopify store.
You can disable it if you do not wish to retrieve collection information.
To modify this setting, please contact our Support team or your Account Manager.
Translations
When this setting is enabled, you must specify which language Shoppingfeed should use to retrieve information from your main feed.
To do so, enter the ISO language code (Shopify language code list) in the dedicated field.
Please note:
- Translations must already exist and be published in Shopify.
- This only applies to the following fields:
- name
- link
- description
- category
- option
- option value
- collection
- Only one language can be specified, as translated values replace the original values.
- The
read_translationsscope is required on the Shopify side.
Market
This setting works together with the previous one (Translations).
When enabled, you can specify a particular Shopify market for which you want to retrieve localized product URLs.
Please note:
- The
read_marketsscope is required on the Shopify side.
