A short email to let you know that Shoppingfeed can no longer read your source feed;
Nothing serious obviously, we've thought of everything.
Simply connect to your Shoppingfeed interface ( click here) , and our software will simply guide you in solving this problem.
Please note: To ensure service continuity, we maintain data retrieved during the last valid update of your source feed. We will use this data, including inventory quantities, until this issue is resolved. It is therefore important to follow the steps necessary for the resolution step by step.
"What could have caused this blockage?"
There are several possible reasons, but fortunately only a small part will require the intervention of the technician.
The most common are:
1. A large number of products have been recalled, or you have changed many product IDs.
In fact, for security reasons, if we register a drop in suspicious products in your source feed, we ask you to carry out a manual check.
To start this manual procedure you will need to connect to the Feed Cart and follow the procedure. ( Click here)
2. Either you removed a large number of categories and/or changed the title of a number of them.
Again, since we register anomalous behavior in your source flow, we proceed to carry out a manual check.
To start this manual procedure, connect to the Feed Cart and follow the procedure. ( Click here)
The most common examples: you changed the name of the categories for optimization reasons, you added a capital letter at the beginning of each category, you changed your default categories, etc... 3.
Or your Source stream is simply not available at all.
This can happen if you have modified the Shoppingfeed module or made a change to the servers.
In this case, we invite you to check with your internal team or agency that nothing has changed at the module or API level.
For example you can ask them if your source feed opens well. If you want to find the URL of your source feed, please go to the Settings -> Your Feed page in the RSS Shopping interface.
These are the most frequent cases. In 90% of cases, the problem can be solved by following one of these three procedures.
We hope we have been explanatory in our explanations. However, if after these checks you are still not able to restore your source stream, our team will take action to resolve the problem.
Send an email to support@shopping-flux. with your Shopping Feed account name and put the title "Source Feed Blocked."
