Before connecting your Otto seller account to Centric Shoppingfeed, you must first add the Centric Shoppingfeed application directly from your Otto Market Seller Portal. This step is mandatory. If the Centric Shoppingfeed application has not been added to your Otto account beforehand, the connection in Centric Shoppingfeed will not work.
Before You Begin
Make sure you have access to:
- Your Otto Market Seller Portal
- Your Centric Shoppingfeed account
- The Otto connection page in Centric Shoppingfeed
Step 1 — Add the Centric Shoppingfeed Application in Otto
Log in to your Otto Market Seller Portal, then open the Centric Shoppingfeed application invitation link:
https://portal.otto.market/apps/centric-shoppingfeed/versions/1
Next, follow the instructions displayed in Otto to add the Centric Shoppingfeed application to your Otto account.
Step 2 — Connect Otto in Centric Shoppingfeed
Once the Centric Shoppingfeed application has been added to Otto, you can connect the Otto channel in Centric Shoppingfeed.
In Centric Shoppingfeed:
- Go to the Channel Search page and search for Otto.
- Start the Otto connection process.
- Follow the authentication steps.
- Complete the connection.
Why Is This Step Required?
Otto requires sellers to authorize the Centric Shoppingfeed application from the Otto Market Seller Portal before the connection can be completed in Centric Shoppingfeed.
If you try to connect Otto in Centric Shoppingfeed before adding the application in Otto, the connection will fail.
Troubleshooting
The Otto connection isn't working in Centric Shoppingfeed
Make sure the Centric Shoppingfeed application has been added to your Otto Market account. You can add it using the following link:
https://portal.otto.market/apps/centric-shoppingfeed/versions/1
Once the application has been successfully added in Otto, return to Centric Shoppingfeed and restart the Otto connection process.
I've already added the application in Otto, but the connection still fails
Make sure you're using the correct Otto seller account and verify that the Centric Shoppingfeed application was added using the same Otto account you're trying to connect to Centric Shoppingfeed.
