At this time, Shopping Feed does not support eBay Motors. If you are trying to list your products on eBay motors, we recommend using a dedicated tool for eBay Motors, one that is equipped to ensure proper part compatibility.
Data requirements for eBay
- Each product within your storefront (including variations) must have a unique SKU assigned.
- eBay Seller account should be registered as 'Business'. An 'Individual' type of account is not compatible.
- eBay Basic store/subscription is recommended.
Depending on the number of products you will list, we recommend a higher-tiered subscription plan to help offset listing fees.
- Automatic payment method should be pre-installed in your eBay seller account.
Note: Payments made for your orders on eBay are administered through PayPal. In order to qualify to open an eBay Store, you must offer PayPal as a method of payment. The email address that is associated with your PayPal account will be required when you are connecting your eBay channel.
UPC/EAN & MPN
As of June 2016, sellers who list branded items in New, Manufacturer or Refurbished condition in the following categories below are required to include the item's brand, manufacturer part number (MPN), and the GTIN (either UPC or EAN barcodes) to successfully create new listings:
Business & Industrial (Electrical & Test Equipment, Healthcare Lab & Life Sciences, Heavy Equipment, Heavy Equipment P&A, MRO & Industrial Supply)
Cameras & Photo
Cell Phones & Accessories
Clothing, Shoes & Accessories (Shoes only)
Computers/Tablets & Networking
DVDs & Movies
Health & Beauty
Home & Garden (Tools and Appliances only)
Musical Instruments & Gear
Toys & Hobbies
Video Games & Consoles
IF you do not have product MPNs in your storefront, then your SKUs will be auto-submitted for MPNs.
IF the brand field is empty coming in from your storefront, you can add brand(s) to your products using Rules in Shopping Feed.
eBay requires a minimum length of 500 pixels for the longest side, though recommend between 800 - 1600 pixels. They cannot contain borders, watermarks, text or artwork on the photos like brand icons. If the image requirements are not met, you might still see your products listed successfully but eBay's bot can take your listing down after its next crawl.
