When connecting the eBay channel in Shoppingfeed you will be asked to Allow Access to your eBay Seller Account/eBay Store.
Then you will be prompted to complete the Setup/Categorization page before actually being able to access the eBay channel dashboard.
Shoppingfeed supports all eBay marketplace categories except for eBay Motors.
The list of available eBay categories.
AutoTag
Make sure all the required fields are fulfilled with some static/dynamic values. Once added, these values will get auto-assigned to all products under that specific category.
- For a Size attribute, it is recommended to use the field called {autotag_size}.
- For a Color attribute, it is recommended to use the {autotag_color} field.
- The Type attribute has recently become mandatory so make sure you add a value for this one too.
Field Mapping
By default, the field mapping is pre-installed for the eBay channel in Shoppingfeed.
However, you will require the following eBay Business Policies (Return, Shipping & Payment) in your eBay Seller account:
- ReturnProfileID
- ShippingProfileID
- PaymentProfileID
Selection
Now you can enable any test product to be sent to the eBay marketplace.
By clicking on a category you can expand each category to view your products.
- Turn on a parent product ID (in bold) and its variations listed beneath to test it first. Note: You must turn on the parent product for any of its variations to be listed.
2. Once you're ready to send your test item on eBay, click on the Update button to initiate a manual eBay channel update.
3. Wait for at least 10-30 minutes and the new listing should be created in your eBay Seller account. After that, you can start enabling your other items to be sent to eBay.
Note: Grey, Light Blue & Blue category switches are explained below:
If a category switch is grey then products under that switch are turned OFF.
If the switch is light blue then some of your products for that category are turned ON and some are OFF.
If the switch is Blue then all of your products for that switch are turned ON.
Error Investigator
Inside the Error Investigator, you can see how the product moved through the system. Kind of errors we got back from eBay. You can take a look at any product and see the product data that's been sent out and how it's been modified or transferred.
Errors might come back but no need to panic
Shoppingfeed will give you an idea of what those errors are & how to solve them.
