The law requires platforms to comply with the principle of Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR), particularly:
- Third-party sellers must provide the unique EPR identifiers issued by ADEME for the categories of products offered for sale, including their packaging. If the third-party seller is not the producer under the EPR definition, their own supplier must provide them with this unique identifier upon request (see Article L.541-10-10 of the Environmental Code).

Additionally, the law specifies that:
- EPR compliance requires sellers to join an eco-organization, contribute financially to the prevention and management of waste generated by these products, and maintain the minimum required product information to declare to the eco-organization.

As sellers, you may be required to take two actions:
1/ You must:
- Provide Cdiscount Marketplace with valid EPR identifier(s) for each relevant EPR category (see the procedure below): Seller Area > Help Center > Join the Support Center > Email Assistance > Select "My Account" and sub-type "Submit my seller and supplier EPR IDs".
- Include the EPR ID(s) in your General Terms of Sale.
- Provide the product's EPR ID(s) to the buyer upon request.
2/ You must report the DEEE and DEA eco-contributions through the offer feed fields:
All sellers, whether they are the first to introduce a product to the French market or not, are required to display the eco-contribution amount for DEEE and DEA products on the product page.
To do so, go to the "Mapping" tab on the CDiscount platform and fill in the 2 relevant attributes (either through fields already present in your source feed, or by creating new fields on Shoppingfeed and using rules):
There is no need to provide the EPR ID in the offer feed, except for DEA and DEEE.
