METRO Markets, in partnership with METRO France, has contacted its merchants to inform them that they can begin configuring Shoppingfeed on the new METRO Marketplace.
Here is the timeline for METRO Markets (please note, these dates are indicative and subject to change, as METRO decides the timing. Feel free to inquire directly with their service for more details):
- 25.07: Soft launch (restricted access to the METRO Markets network, "Family and Friends") - Sales can begin.
- 12.09: Official launch date (GO-LIVE) - The Marketplace is accessible from the metro.fr website.
- 26.09: The Mirakl solution will no longer be available, definitively replaced by the METRO Markets solution. We recommend finalizing your last orders received before this date.

Here are some important points to note:
- Category mapping must be done for the METRO Markets marketplace to follow the correct hierarchy.
- Merchants will need to create their products again.
- Error reports for your products will not be available on Shoppingfeed. You will need to log in to your merchant account (Seller Office) to download them and identify product errors.
- Product data evaluation is performed by the METRO Markets Quality department and may take up to 7 business days.
