What do Custom Labels correspond to?
Custom Labels are very useful for managing your Adwords campaigns. Thanks to these fields, you can enter values that will help you optimize your campaigns by grouping products. You can find all the relevant information directly on Google's HelpCenter.
Usage in Shoppingfeed
On Shoppingfeed, you will find these fields on the Google Shopping field mapping tab. There are 5 fields that you can fill in with the values you want (those that will allow you to sort your products, such as best sellers, seasonal items, high-margin products, etc.).
Here's how to proceed:
- If you have values in your source feed that you want to use as custom labels, simply associate your attributes with the mapping fields (lines 28 => 32).
- If you don't have specific fields:
you can fill in the Custom Labels using the Find & Replace rules to create these product groups. Here's an example:
1) Create a field using the Field Creation tool {CustomLabel_0}
2) Fill in this field with a Search Replace rule like this: If ID is equal to [X|Y|Z] then replace my {CustomLabel_0} field with [Best]
3) Add a new mapping in the Google Shopping field mapping - Lines 28, 29, 30, 31, and 32.
