Categories
Shoppingfeed supports all the available Mirakl categories.
We are getting daily API updates for the available categories, attributes and brands to make sure the information in Shoppingfeed is relevant and up-to-date.
The first step in your settings will therefore be to associate your internal Product Types / Categories with the categories of the relevant marketplace.
AutoTag
The AutoTag tab allows you to provide more information about your products. This way you can optimize your listings as well as make your products appear in the Search Results more frequently thanks to the filters.
Make sure to add values for all required attributes.
You can enter two types of values:
- {dynamic_field} from your feed;
- [Static Field] with a fixed value.
Note
Attribute consists of a code and a value. The value appears in Shoppingfeed but the corresponding code is sent to the marketplace instead of that value.
Important!
If you are creating Find / Replace rules, the rule result must contain the attribute code and not the attribute value.
Kindly see an example of a Find / Replace rule that sends the code M8028 to Mirakl that will represent the Conforama brand.
Mapping
In order to make the process easier for you, we have created a matching tool for the required attributes of brands / sizes / colors, which you can find on the Mapping page.
This tool allows you to associate your data with the codes expected by each Mirakl marketplace for these attributes.
If an attribute appears on the Mapping page of the marketplace - it is required to list products on that specific marketplace.
If you cannot find a match, you will need to contact the marketplace and request for that specific value to be added to their list of values for a specific attribute.
For example, you have the product with "Dark Blue" and "Neon Blue" Color variants. However, the marketplace only allows "Blue" value. In this case, you can ask the marketplace to create a distinction in its color values.
Error Investigator
There are two separate feeds sent to the Mirakl platforms:
- Products feed (creates ads);
- Offers feed (updates prices and quantities).
Offers updates are in the data overwrite mode. This means that the most recent Offers feed sent from Shoppingfeed will replace the data from the previous feed so that only the current offers are published.
The overwrite mode implies that only the Shoppingfeed feed should be used for the update and you should not have any other solution/feed connected to that specific platform, otherwise, the offers will be overwritten with the feed from each solution which will cause a lot of discrepancies.
You can find products blocked or rejected by the channel in the Error Investogator tab.
There are two types of errors:
- Products Blocked by Shoppingfeed
We will block the products that have not passed the validation on our end. You will see which piece of the required product data is missing.
In this section, you will also see the products blocked because of the Auto-Remove Rules. You will be able to see the name of the rule in the reason for the blockage.
- Products rejected by the channel
Here you will find the products that we've tried sending over to the marketplace but they have been rejected for a specific reason. You will be able to see the reason for rejection as well as our suggestion on how to fix the discrepancy in each specific case.
