If we have helped import a marketplace order back to your storefront, Full refunds may be issued within your storefront.
The order status will shuttle back to your marketplace account. And we will always be sending a 'default' cancellation reason which is OUT_OF_STOCK / CANNOT_FULFILL regardless of the reason selected in your Shopify Admin.
Our Etsy & Walmart channels are exceptions to the above workflow.
Please be advised that a Partial refund needs to be handled directly on the marketplace via your seller account.
If the order has been fulfilled already - the return must be issued directly in the marketplace, not in your storefront.
We do not send the order status updates from the marketplaces back to your storefront. We can only import the Unfulfilled orders and allow you to Force Import the Fulfilled/ Shipped orders back to your storefront.
This means that we will not be able to update the order status in your storefront if the Buyer cancels the marketplace order. You should receive an email/notification from the marketplace, letting you know that the Buyer cancelled the order. At the same time, the order status will be updated in the Orders Pane in ShoppingFeed.
