Promotions present in your source feed
When promotions are available through the prices returned in your source feed, with the default fields being {price} and {old_price}, our system automatically detects that a promotion is active if the value in the {price} field is lower than the value in the {old_price} field.
Shoppingfeed then automatically applies the expected format for each platform by sending the promotion typically over a rolling 2-day period.
Example with the Amazon marketplace:
Promotions created using rules
If promotional prices are not in your source feed, you can then create rules to lower the value of the {price} field: https://app.shopping-feed.com/rules/transformations
- Starting from the price:

To cancel a promotion from your source feed
You can also cancel a promotion from your source feed by establishing a simple rule like this:
Configuring promotion dates on channels
By default, Shoppingfeed applies dates automatically based on the export date and the format expected by the platforms.
However, there are two solutions to set specific promotion dates, either by editing the promotion rule application date or by manually editing the relevant attributes of the platforms (accessible via the "Mapping" tab for each platform).
For Mirakl platforms, for example, the relevant attributes are (with the date format being "YYYY-MM-DD"):
Note: If the date attributes are empty, the automatic processing will be applied.
