Here are the basic requirements:
- Every channel you'd like to connect with us requires an active Merchant/Seller account. For example, for Amazon, you'll need a valid Amazon Seller Central account.
- Each product within your storefront (including each variation) must have a unique SKU (Product ID) assigned. Duplicates will cause discrepancies on the channels as well as during setup.
- If you leave this SKU field blank in Shopify, we will use the Shopify ID by default in Shoppingfeed (Shopify ID is a numeric value that Shopify statically sets for you).
- NOTE: SKU data is very important and used a key reference across multiple platforms. You must NOT edit/change the SKU data in Shopify once the item has been listed on any channel. If you do, you will break the sync between Shopify and your channel listing.

- UPC/EAN/GTIN barcodes are required by most major channels (e.g. Amazon, Houzz, Walmart, etc).
- We highly recommend acquiring barcodes from your manufacturer. Or, you can purchase your own barcodes from services such as www.gs1.org or www.speedybarcodes.com.
- NOTE: Creating your own barcodes or using incorrect/invalid ones can result in getting your Merchant/Seller accounts penalized, or even closed.

- We cannot typically support more than 2 variation attributes (AKA drop-down options) for a given product. Any items with more than 2 variation attributes will not sync with the channels by default. If you have products with more than 2 variation attributes - feel free to reach out to our support team so that they can come up with a possible workaround for you.
- We rely on Shopify's Product type in order to split your products up into different categories in Shoppingfeed.
From there, you will be able to assign the appropriate marketplace category to each Product Type.
Please make sure to assign granular Product Types to your products in Shopify; this way you will be able to easily categorize as well as optimize your products for any channel/marketplace. For example: Men's Pants vs Women's Pants or Boys T-Shirt vs Girls T-Shirt. - By default, your Vendor field in Shopify will be used as your Brand attribute for all channels. This can easily be edited using the Shoppingfeed Rules tool.
