Auto-Remove (Segmentation) rules allow you to remove products from your export feeds based on certain criteria.
+ Create a new Auto-remove rule
Name your rule is required.
Notes (optional): You can add a small description for yourself.
Duration (optional): ‘Active all the time’ is the Default option.
If you enter a start and end date, the rule will only take effect during the period you have pre-defined.
Channels Affected:
- Applied to all current and future platforms.
- Applied to certain types of channels. The channels are grouped by type. For example, all marketplaces or all PLA channels.
- Applied to specific channels. The rule will only apply to the platforms you have selected, for example, Amazon.
Condition: works as a filter.
If you do not fill in a condition, the rule will apply to all your products. If you add a condition, the rule will only apply to products affected by your condition.
An example of an Auto-Remove rule
We will create an auto-remove rule to segment all products with the tag “eBay” in your online store and therefore block them from being sent on to Amazon, for example.
NOTE: In the Auto-Remove rules, the Preview is not available. You only need to save the rule and those products will be removed from the pre-defined channels with the next channel update.
Format to respect:
Fixed values must be in square brackets []. Dynamic fields (fields in your feed), between {}. And the decimals, are separated by a point and not a comma.
So, in our case, we put the condition: Your mapped fields: { tags } --> Contains --> [ eBay ]
You can add multiple conditions and specify whether all the conditions (or at least one) must be met to achieve the desired result.
Statistical conditions: They are based on statistical data, obtained from price comparison sites.
Important: When you remove products with the Auto-remove rule, these products will not be "deselected" from your channel dashboard. They will be marked as sent but will be blocked by Shoppingfeed. You’ll find them in the "Error Investigator" tab under the "Auto-Remove" section.
