Some channels have an exhaustive list of carriers written in their own format, which can sometimes be very specific. You are therefore required to respect this format for order shipment.
How does it work ?
The interface allows you to easily match your carriers to the channel's carriers. You will find 2 main parts :
- Your carrier
- The channel's carrier
To access the feature, click on "Settings > Carrier matching".
Channel's section
Each section title refers to the channel itself.
A section is created under two conditions : if the channel has an exhaustive list of carriers, and if you had shipped at least one order you received via that specific channel.
Carrier matching
The column "your carrier" lists your known carriers, for each channel.
In front of every carrier of your own, you will find a text box that allows you enter keywords in order to match your carriers to the channel's. This second column is named "Channel's carrier".
1. Your carrier :
Your different carriers are added automatically, and independently for each channel. It is conditioned by two parameters :
- At least one order has been sent using a specific carrier
- The channel requires an exhaustive list of carriers
For example, you can have DHL and FedEx as carriers for Amazon orders, and only have FedEx for eBay orders. You will have two carriers (DHL and FedEx) on the Amazon section, and only one for eBay.
2. Channel's carrier
Shoppingfeed saves the carriers' list for each channel and updates it automatically and on a regular basis.
This list is always available on your account.
Other options
The drop-down menu is set on "All carriers" by default. You can choose to filter and show and show only your unmatched carriers.
You can spot how far you have completed your carrier matching :
